Behavioural consults

60 minutes • $350 for initial consult, written plan and virtual support. 

For those dogs and their owners who have run into a specific and significant behavioural problem. I can help you with problems such as:

• Rushing other dogs
• Barking on lead at any trigger

• Antisocial behaviour or nuisance barking at home

• Separation anxiety (acting out when you arent home)

• Resource guarding (being overly possessive over toys food)
• Dog-dog aggression

• Dog-human aggression

Following our lessons I will send you a written plan with exercises to do with your dog, and provide virtual support by email or text and video feedback while you work on them.  You will then mostly likely need some follow up training sessions, the amount depends on your dog, the time you have to put in and what the problem is. Successful and long term behaviour modification takes a time committment and consistent training. 

 

Following the initial consult I can then create a bespoke follow up training lessons package for you depending on your needs with continuing support while you work through the programme I haveI have experience working with problem behaviours in dogs such as those above. Please note: I do not work with dogs that have ever significantly injured a human. 

Registration and Refund Policy

Registration is required for all classes and private lessons. Please message me to book your lessons or classes and a form will be sent for you to fill in online. A deposit will be required to hold your place in a class or confirm your lesson booking time:

Classes

• If you cancel registration at least seven days prior to the class starting a full refund will be provided.
• If you need to cancel between two days and seven days prior to class starting a full refund will be provided, less a $30.00 administration fee.
• Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to class starting (i.e. also once classes have started) will receive no refund or transfers to another intake.

Lessons

• Lessons bought as a package must be used within 3 months of your first lesson unless other wise discussed
• If you cancel a private lesson less than 24 hours before the time booked, that lesson will count toward your set booked or, if it is a one off, your deposit will be forfeited
• If you cancell a private lesson +24 hours before the lesson, the lesson can be rebooked for another time
